The KC Metro Area Government Webmasters (KCMagWeb) are a group of local government webmasters who meet every 3rd Thursday of each month in Overland Park, KS or MARC Headquarters in downtown KCMO. Our website can be found at http://www.kcmagweb.org/.
If you belong to a local government agency (i.e. city, county, school, library, etc.), please join us for a great presentation on "Drupal for Beginners". We are a user's group, and there is no fee for membership. It's all about learning new web-related things from each other.

This sounds like something that I might like to attend, more from a Drupal perspective than local government though. I help organize the local Drupal user group and I was thinking it might be valuable for me to attend to maybe help provide resources, connections, etc. for folks in the KCMagWeb group. Would it be OK for someone like me (I don't work directly for a local government) to attend and do you think it would add value for the group?
