i am trying to use the omega base theme ....i've already created a sub theme but i cant go past that any body help me with tutorials on how to customize the theme to match my design thx

The Omega Theme Documentation Handbook has it all. You can find it on this page; http://drupal.org/node/819164
I advise you to install Delta(http://drupal.org/project/delta) and Omega tools(http://drupal.org/project/omega_tools). These two modules will help you get to speed with Omega.
And it will be much better if you know about RESS, HTML5, base theming and grid systems
Note; Depending on the version of Omega you're currently using, choose the right version of Omega tools

well, benjamin said it all... (actually i have all those required modules activated..) nwayz though mine was an issue with creating a custom region.... it just won't appear in the demonstrations...!!! but am on it...
