As we've discussed at our last couple of user group meetings we're going to participate in the Global Training Day in Lawrence on Friday, 6/14. We're starting to get things organized so if you have any interest in participating please let me know this week.
We're planning on doing a two part day, the first part will be an Introduction To Drupal class and the second half will be a more informal "ask the experts" forum where folks can bring their questions, site building problems etc. and get them answered. The intro class is for total beginners so if you have any experience with Drupal at all you can help, we'll need folks that can be there to help participants work through problems as they go through the exercises. Even if you can't go on the 14th there will likely be opportunities to help out with publicity, etc.
We have a really good room at KU so the facility is all taken care of and we're working to get the details ironed out this week (before 5/17) so if you think you might want to help at all please let me know soon.
