I'm looking forward to this after missing the last meeting.

I'd be interested in gathering a list of projects people are working on currently. Maybe get a feel for how development is going for everyone in Drupal 5.1 versus Drupal 4.7.x.

See you all there...

Reminder...Meeting Tonight

Hey Seattle Drupal Fans,

Just a quick reminder that we are meeting tonight at 6 pm. Topics I'm interested in talking about include importing non-drupal data into Drupal and CiviCRM. What do you want to discuss?

Thanks,

Robin

Looks like the Import/Export API released a dev version for 5.1 this week... http://drupal.org/project/importexportapi

This is an interest of mine as well, so look forward to the discussion.

Notes From the Meeting

Another educational meeting was had at Elliott Bay. It sounds like the bookstore is working out as a good meeting location. My notes are short, but at least give you an idea of what we discussed.

Using CiviCRM:
- check the CiviCRM Theme module
- As soon as you install CiviCRM, Synchronize users
- Use CiviCRM for setting up access control lists

Modules we discussed include:
- Send module (works with CiviCRM)
- Release Monitor (when viewing modules, this module shows if there is a new version at drupal.org)
- Color Selector Module - good clean fun!
- For handling images, try tinymce with imce modules. "it's awesome!"

Identity:
- inames (more focus on security and privacy)
- OpenID
