Hoping to make this a weekly call to get an update on SCOTCH progress, specifically what has been done lately, what is in progress, what needs reviewing, how you can help.
The agenda is fairly open for this first call but the idea is to pick a few things to focus on, assign people who can work on them, and set up some milestones.
Check out the sandbox issue queue or the core issue queue (Blocks-Layouts tag) for a preview of what might be discussed.
All are free to join, though in the interest of time we will try to keep the discussion very high level. Once we've identified what issues to work on and who wants to help, we can schedule any additional discussions outside of the weekly call.

I was poking around layouts
I was poking around layouts and boozie module and had a question. Though not sure if this is the best place for it. Anyway, in looking at the code that exists within layouts right now nothing has been done to create an admin UI/form for building new displays dynamically similar to panels. When Drupal 8 is released will there be an admin UI for creating displays in core or is that something that will be delegated to panels/contributed module?
