I'm guessing there are loads more local folks who were thinking of coming to DevDays, but haven't yet signed up. We noticed there aren't that many people from within Ireland actually signed up so far. OK, to be honest I didn't buy my own ticket until right before I wrote this post(!)

Were you planning on coming along? June 28-30th - Please sign up! http://dublin2013.drupaldays.org/

At DrupalCamp Dublin recently I heard lots of questions about performance and security; about deployment and staging environments. These are the kinds of questions you can get answered.

I just wanted to say: Drupal Dev Days isn’t just for ‘hard core’ developers. Site builders will really get loads out of the event.

This is a chance to level up your skills and learn how to improve how you work with Drupal. Check out the range of sessions here:

I know there’s lots of busy developers just trying to keep on top of the client work. It’s hard to find the time to improve your skills and learn about new tools and technologies. This event can make that much easier for you, by giving you time out to get up to speed.

What makes this event special is that it’s totally focused on technical topics: Drupal configuration and coding, upgrading, performance, security, testing, deployment. There’s not much about marketing, business, etc. so it gives you time to focus on the nuts and bolts of Drupal development.

Anyway, if you were hesitating or had any questions- please ask here. This is a chance to get in touch with an international community of experienced developers and it's right on your doorstep.

Hope to see you there!
