Cross-Platform Drupal-Powered Mobile Apps
- Briefly discuss the difference between mobile apps, mobile websites, responsive websites and web-apps (even mobile web-apps ahhhH!).
- Learn the joys and pains of cross-platform app production as a web developer/designer.
- Compare the two major cross-platform mobile app players: PhoneGap and Appcelerater Titanium.
- Discuss connecting Drupal sites with mobile apps via Services module and custom JSON feeds.
- Getting started with a sample app
Files and presentation will be shared. Blunt criticism is encouraged.
