Ok so im setting up a site for a venue that will host multiple festivals throughout the year.
Some big some small, some will have more info then others. I would like to know if the current incarnation of OMF would allow for this?
set times (or events) may not always be available

I would like to keep old events for historical record also. If OMF is not the right setup for this maybe you can point me in the right direction

Apologies for my atrocious response time.
I'm pretty sure the current incarnation of OMF would support that use case, though you might need to write a few custom views to make it work with events spread out a way (I think the default calendar view is "Week", you'd have to change it to "Month" — granted, this can all be done within Views).
That said, I'm really not in a place where I can adequately provide support at the moment, so if what you're doing is system critical or high value, I'd recommend holding off on OMF until I release 1.4.0 — sorry!
