Due to Drupalcon Prague, the Twin Cities Drupal September meetup is scheduled 1 week later than normal -- Wednesday October 2nd from 7-9PM.

Drupal vs. Wordpress

The week's wait will be worth it. A few months back, Chris Weber from the Nerdery tantalizingly offered to host a Drupal vs. Wordpress session. Chris and a Nerdery colleague, Sherman Bausch, promise to bring an entertaining review comparison of the two open source "rivals" to the table. Bring your questions and your partisan opinions and expect to have some myths busted.

To up the ante just a little bit, the TC Drupal community has been invited to take place in a Drupal vs. Wordpress Battle Rayale at CoCo Minneapolis in late October. While details are still being arranged, we have the next 2 meet ups to organize and ready ourselves to deliver a Drupal smack down at this upcoming event. Let's challenge Chris to prep us well.

Community Lab Hours 5-7PM

Don't forget we're holding Community Lab Hours from 5-7PM right before the meetup in the same location. Come work on Drupal, get some help with your questions, share your ideas, get some stuff done!

Door prize

Due to the great generosity of Chris Shattuck, we will be giving away a gift card for free access to the acclaimed Drupal online video learning library BuildAModule. Show up and put your name in the jar for the chance to win.

Socializing, networking, food, beverages

As always, pizza will be provided. Bringing beverages to share is encouraged. There will be plenty of time for food, drink, socializing and networking.
