Hi there,
I'm building a new site which uses the leech.module to let people add feeds for their own blogs, etc...
What I'd like to know is if it's possible to establish some relation between score given to the feed node (the source) and it's childs. For example if a user would give a 5 start rating to the node of the feed source, is there any way to actually recommend it,s feed items??
I was thinking of using the node review of vote up down modules on the feed sources, but realized that this would allow to recommend sources, but not necessarily the related feed items...
How would you approach this?

Just to add more info on what I'd like to do... It's basically promoting nodes that have a parent->child relationship... If I really like tha parent node, chances are that I will like the child nodes as well..
Is the recommanation engine API able to handle something like this??

I am not all that familar
I am not all that familar with the leech module but I suspect that it creates a parent node that holds the feed information. So! if that is true, then when a user rates a child the vote widget would then place a vote for the parent as well.
Then the recommendation module would say, "Hey, user 4 here is 'New Language Support in Drupal 6.x' it was recommended to you because you like the feed 'drupal.org' and 'New Language Support in Drupal 6.x' is from that feed ".

Would you be interested in building this add-on module for me? I'm new to the world of programming and I just ordered some books to learn php, etc... SO this seems like a huge task to me...
I have some budget for a project I'm building now, and I'll be interested in sponsoring this small module (integration with leech.module to recommend child nodes of a 'voted on' source...
Also I'd like to sponsor developpement of the other module I talked about that would recommend nodes based not only on who voted on what, but on the node author info and the related taxonomies as well...
