This month's presentation will be a large presentation broken down into smaller sessions. We will have Show-and-Tell sessions highlighting REAL sites we have developed with Drupal.
Please prepare one case study to share with the group. We will post these case-studies, so the first people to commit get the pick of the litter! Add your session as a comment. Remember, many hands make light work!
Meeting Location:
Main conference room in the IATP building:
2104 Stevens Ave S.
Minneapolis MN 55404

What's the date?
What's the date?
Drupal gathering on 4.21 or 4.22?
BarCamp comes to St Paul with MinneBar on 4.21 (http://barcamp.org/MinneBar).
I'd love to get a Drupal session together, would you be interested in participating?
Guthrie Theater site?
We just finished up the new site for the Guthrie Theater (www.guthrietheater.org) and it's 100% Drupal through-and-through. We could give a quick run-down on that project.
What is meant by 'posting' of the case studies? Was there a format suggested for downloads / handouts (either in terms of file format or questions to be sure we answer)?
Off the top of my head, we could run through the following:
* Big picture site objectives
* Modules used
* Problems encountered
* Misc Considerations and Techniques (e.g. homepage Flash?)
* Questions

Presentation Postponed: Fever Intervenes
I've been laid up all day today and most of yesterday with a fever. I was hoping to make it tonight anyways, but I don't think I'll be in much of a state to be useful and I don't want to show up in public and share these germs. I'm going to head back to bed shortly and will make my final-final decision a bit later... but at this point it looks unlikely.
Sorry All! (Someone take notes, please!)

Your "Guthrie Theater" site
Your "Guthrie Theater" site looks very nice and professional. Is it truely 100% Drupal site?
Can drupal make some site like Download.com?
Cedar Cultural Center
I know I said at the meeting that I couldn't be there in April, but one of the things I had going cancelled. I'd be glad to talk about hte Cedar Cultural Center web site - http://www.thecedar.org - and how using Drupal has improved its life (and what's left to do).
I need to amend this to say
The AWARD-WINNING Cedar Cultural Center web site, since it won the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits Dot.Org award today for best Community Convergence site!
I have this little trophy sitting on my desk. What fun! I'll bring it to the meeting (since I'll then have to hand it over to The Cedar ---)

Managing massive amounts of content
I'm going to show off some new development we've doing to manage sites with lots, and lots of content. To whet your appetite: imagine using a View to select content in a form. It's just as delicious as it sounds.
I'd love to get a Drupal

"$500 site" not $500 for the presentation
Doesn't seem like anyone recorded this particular event. But I think the "$500" point was the name of the topic -- how to build a site for relatively cheap -- not the price of admission or for a copy.
