OPIN Drupal Workshops

OPIN's Drupal Training instils knowledge in beginners through to web developers and programmers via on-site classroom courses. We develop and maintain a standardized, up-to-date Drupal curriculum, and educate through a hands on learning environment. OPIN's Drupal Training is held in small classroom sizes allowing personal attention and guidance from the instructor while developing with Drupal. Drupal best practices combined with years of experience and knowledge are the foundation of our courses.

OPIN's instructor Chris Smith has over nine years developing IT systems in the Government of Canada. In addition, Chris is a professor at Algonquin College where he teaches Content Management Systems, part of the College's Interactive Multimedia Development Program. His experience and leadership at OPIN Software has helped position the company to be one of the most successful Drupal system integrators for the Government of Canada and has allowed the company to branch out to other public sector organizations such as the Governments of Alberta, Ontario and British Columbia as well as Academic Institutions and Not for Profits.

OPIN is offering a two day holistic Drupal Training; Drupal Fundamentals 101 and Advanced Drupal. Fundamentals 101 is designed for anyone interested in learning more about Drupal and key strengths that can be leveraged in various organizations; programming knowledge not mandatory. Advanced Drupal is designed for web developers interested in learning more of the moving parts that make Drupal tick. The curriculum is hands-on and introduces fundamental Drupal concepts in an easy-to-understand way. Learn quickly through real-world examples that you can apply immediately. In addition to learning "how to's," you'll understand why Drupal is quickly becoming the preferred open-source framework in public sector organizations.
