Wow, perfect timing even!! I'm taking an intro to flash course right now so I'm definitely up for this!!! I'm in the Heights and I work in the Galleria area so I can get to just about anywhere with no problem.

I'm up for a regular Drupal meeting although I should forewarn you that I tend to spout obscenities anytime I hear the word "flash" in relationship to web design. laughs

The funny thing is...
I do too. I am not a fan of flash sites. That said, a friend of a friend asked for help adapting her existing flash site to a cms.
I will admit... her site is very pretty.

Hello fellow hustonians,
I am a grad student from Medical Center and I am recently trying to learn more about these content management systems (CMS). I was fishing for a while Jommla or postNuke or Drupal and finally ended up choosing drupal. It is good to know that there is a houston group here and am willing to be active in this group. I am not an expert in this IT field however would like to learn by involving in the meetings.
