I am in London, but I do visit Nottingham a lot since I have friends there. If there is a nottingham meeting at the weekend I will see if I can come up on that day. (But dont change your plans just for me :-)

I'm near Coventry, but visit Nottingham occasionally. It isn't difficult to get upto Nottingham by train/car, though it can be hellish with traffic sometimes ;)
I'm a contract developer and switched to Drupal a year or two ago
I have a nearby friend and Drupal themer (css, photoshop, flash etc) and we often get together on Saturday mornings and either knock up a site for someone/some cash, or just mess around with drupal and linux and stuff.
