Hello everyone!
Last night we had our second-last DASA meeting of the year and it was also our first now that we have a constitution signed. I attach our constitution for you here.
The governing board right now is Greg McKeen (Chairperson), Lancelot (Lance) Nyachoto (Vice Chairperson), Riaan Burger (Treasurer) Adam Dunn (Secretary), Ivan Breet (Portfolio Manager), Robin Prieschl and Lee Tailor. Anyone interested to jump in and get things done, feel free to join us at the meetings and take up a portfolio or just a few tasks.
We still have a bit of administration to do (I'm sure that will never really be over), but we should also be ready to be more dynamic in the new year. For the moment, especially for the national groups, please send us dates you would like to be published on the DASA national calendar. This can be anything from the regular meet-ups to PHP/Web and other related events in your area that would be of interest to the Drupal community. We'll update the calendar of course, but it would be helpful to get some starting material for the first publication.
I'll spread more news over a few posts to try to keep them topical in case one or more turns into a more lively discussion than just an announcement ;-)
