Ok, so are planning on the 14th? Same drupal time, same drupal place?
Who's going to present? There was a desire to go over installation and best practices such as properly setting up the database, uploading files etc. Perhaps hosting options and updating the core could be rolled into this conversation as well?
For those of you who didn't make it last time, we will probably conclude the event with some socializing again. Last time a group of drupalers went to grab some food and drinks afterward and merriment was experienced by all. Hopefully you can make it this time.

I'll be there
I'm planning on coming!
I can't make it
Sorry, I won't be able to make it this month. I was one of the ones who wanted to learn best practices for setting up the DB and about hosting options. So if there are other possibilities for this month and these topics can wait until January, that would be great. On the other hand, you don't have to change plans solely on my account.
Attending, but exhausted
I'm planning on attending, but I'll be coming off of a week-long jQuery training engagement, so I don't think I'm going to feel up to presenting. :-)
How about I volunteer to
How about I volunteer to present on development environment:
2 Presentations:
1) Beginner: Getting started with Drupal (15-20 min) - High level overview of working w/Drupal for a beginner developer/power user/administrator.
2) Advanced: Development Environment for Drupal/PHP developers (15-20 min) - High-level discussion of how I setup my Drupal development environment and tools that I use to do development in Linux/OS X.
Other Possible Future Topics:

this sounds great. I like the split between beginner and advanced. sounds like it caters to everyone.
Location?
Can you provide location details? Does the group feature allow for calendaring?--found it!
now that semester is over and
now that semester is over and it doesn't conflict with my schedule I'll definitely start attending. If you guys ever wanted to divert away from drupal and enter semantic xhtml or css land, I would definitely be happy to put some solid material together. maybe something along the lines of best practices for markup, I'm not sure. if anyone has opinions I'm open to them. I'm also very confident in image optimization and photoshop, but that might be getting farther away from drupal than most would like? it's always good stuff to know if you work with designers though.
I've never really tried to skin drupal, but I'm confident in my general xhtml and css abilities. I could probably learn fast if anyone wanted to learn how to do it, I've done almost every other CMS.
I can't make it either.
I have a Holiday Concert to attend, so I can't make it.
Meeting Time ??
The group meets at 6 o'clock, is that correct?
6:00 it is!
The meetup is going to be in the same place as last month: a couple doors west of the actual Wealthy Theater entrance (I don't know the number). There will be signs.
See you soon!
