User group meeting
Hey everyone,
So we can't just let the year end without a Drupal User Group meetup. This December meetup is targeting Drupal developers. If anyone wants to join me at Chilitos, I'll be trying to get this module cleaned up so it can move out of the sandbox and onto it's own module page: https://drupal.org/sandbox/varunity/1785586
If people are interested in joining me for this codesprint please pass by and bring a laptop. the first person there ready to contribute(doesn't have to be code) gets a free Margarita. Please RSVP by clicking signup(you have to be logged in to g.d.o to do this).

I'm IN... but remotely. You won't believe that less than a week ago I was searching for a Drupal implementation of this very library!
I wanted to build a site on a concept of instead of having an explainer video, it would have an explainer slideshow. I already see cool implementations with things like nodequeue and views etc. I will checkout the the code but I am definitely in on that sprint.
Since I am out of the country, you can send me that drink as Bitcoins ;-D

Awesome @frazras! This will be great to have you participate remotely.
LOL, we'll see about those Bitcoins! You may have to settle for a "beer over IP": http://beeroverip.org/notabeer/vittel (non-alcoholic).
Yea, I've found this slideshow module very useful so far. It's great to share training materials with clients and then always have the slides available on the website itself.
More recently I've been using a lot of sticky notes(post-its). I'd love to move this module to a state where I can easily create digital post-its instead of wasting paper (and have it autotag or at least integrate with taxonomy). Maybe you're on to something and views integration is the way to go.
Yea, you can checkout the code. It is a fork of the core book module. We can also start to document the features and fixes we want to try tackle at this code sprint. I created a google doc that we can use. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1C4CSh14FvV3UbgGtL9EWAgGeAA8Wg6CQK-n_...
