Hi, we're meeting up again this Thursday and have a few items lined up.
HO HO HO it's (nearly) Christmas!
This is the last meetup of the year, the one closest to Christmas and a good opportunity to look back at 2013 drupalwise whilst enjoying a drink and nibbles.
If you're still looking for some stocking fillers then you might like to know there is still swag kindly given to our user group by Stephanie Hosny, one of the Drupal Camp North West organisers.
Tour de Drupal
The Tour de Drupal is an initiative by Rachel and Stefan to cycle to DrupalCon Amsterdam next year. If you haven't heard of it yet the Tour de Drupal initiative is gaining momentum within the community with many people being keen to join. To get an idea of what it's all about please watch the recorded talk by Rachel and Stefan at Drupal Camp NW. Also, Bert Boerland has featured the Tour de Drupal in his blog here.
The Command Line
After George Boobyer from Blue Bag kicked off The Command Line with a brilliant presentation recently it is now turn to someone else to share his/hers favourite Command Line tips and tricks. You're welcome to do a talk instead of a formal presentation if you're more comfortable with that.
Coworking space
The office-space for the Drupal Somerset meet ups has seen a change in layout recently and is now a coworking/event/meeting space with a plug-and-play approach. If you're a freelancer or micro-business looking for a cool place to work from or are someone looking for a workshop/training space in central Somerset then get in touch with The Studio. If you want to check out the The Studio there is a Open Day on Jan. 18 2-6pm.
Cost
FREE. Drinks and nibbles will be provided to keep the internal system ticking over. Feel free to bring along some beverages of your liking to celebrate Christmas.

Not to worry, our meet ups take place twice a month on the first and third Thursday. Please note the first meet up in the New Year will be Thursday January 9th and the second one a week after that on the 16th.
