I'm putting together a small Drupal day for a few folks that I know who are interested in learning more about Drupal. Would love to coordinate with anyone who wants to participate either in sharing or learning (or both).
We're shooting for around Jan 16th. Location TBA.

I'm not sure yet. It probably depends on the venue but I was thinking no earlier than 10am and probably not later than 2pm. Also thinking 2 hours would be the time frame to keep things so that folks can do other stuff that day.

my general idea was to promote it to some folks I know who are interested in Drupal but they're stuck in Joomla! and need to be able to understand Drupal better before they can jump into using it.

I have been doing web design and development out of greenville for around 6 years now, and have started to use drupal. I would love to attend. *btw, hey Mike! it's Jonas!.
Yo Jonas! Glad to see you
Yo Jonas! Glad to see you around here. If you need any help or have questions as you get used to Drupal, feel free to holler.
Just might take you up on that...
I've been really working with it pretty intensely for about 2-3 weeks now, and I really like it. It's kinda tough though, being a novice all over again at something web, but I think I'm catching on ok.
The Views module has been kicking me where it hurts for the past 3 days, so I might have questions on that. Have you worked with it much?
Oh yeah, Views is something
Oh yeah, Views is something else. It's one of those 'wall modules', where it seems confusing until you jump the wall and then it's brilliant. I can hopefully answer any questions you have at this point. Feel free to email me!
