Translation Sprint. -- I think this is a good start for Drupal Contributions in China.
At Beta 1.0 Release, we need several devs to write translation files for Drupal. I’ll put the word out through my other projects in Shanghai and get Translators to pair with the devs. I think 2 translators per dev / 3 Devs, we might be able to do the translation in a 2 day Sprint.
What needs to be done:
--- Devs need to review and learn translation hooks/api for drupal 8
--- Export EN files to flat text for translators before the sprint
--- Assign teams to modules/UX components before the Sprint
--- find 2 – 3 translators per developer
--- Location (possibly XCJ), coffee, Redbull meals, etc ( I’ll sponsor these items personally )
Ideas for later sprints:

----- Chinese address field addon for [new] core address field
----- Chinese phone field addon for [new] core phone field
----- Baidu / Alimaps Display and geocoding
----- Weibo Mutual login (upgrade 7.x contribution to 8)

----- Global (in china) context for context/ctools/page manager based in CN ip range lookup
