Join us this month as we:
-
Meet & greet: Intros...Who are you? How are you involved with Drupal? If someone gave you $1000 to spend on any other person, who would it be and how would you spend it?
-
Engage with Presentations: Have you...Recently accomplished a big win using Drupal? Learned a neat trick that saved you a few gray hairs? Come across something so frustrating, so time-sucking, that you're stuck and want input? This is your time to step up to the mic (we don't really have a mic but we do have a projector and whiteboard if needed) and share with the group. We encourage everyone, regardless of skill level, to think of themselves as presenters. Even if it's something that you think is insignificant, you'd be surprised how much that can help others who are learning Drupal.
Coming for the first time?
Whether you're an experienced Drupaler, or you just heard about Drupal from a friend, our meetup aims to be a place where people from all backgrounds can come and learn more about various topics related to Drupal (Module Development, Themeing, Development Environments, etc), network with other Drupal professionals and hobbyists, and get support with various issues of their own. We usually start things of with introductions, followed by any planned (or sometimes unplanned) presentations, and then Q&A/wrap up. Some bring a laptop, others bring pen & paper, but everyone typically comes with a desire to learn, help others learn, and help Drupal continue to grow.

STL February Meetup
We had a really good meeting tonight. There was some really great collaboration. I'm sorry some of you missed it, hope to see you next time! :D
Video from last month?
Any chance someone could give me a link to the video presentation that was used last month? It was mentioned in tonight's meeting to be something similar to features or something...someone WAS going to get it to me during the meeting but got distracted and forgot before he left.
I'd appreciate it, thanks. :)
Slides only
These are the slides from Jeff's presentation last month on tools for development environment setup: Local Dev on Virtual Machines - Vagrant, VirtualBox and Ansible
No video was taken unfortunately, we should consider recording main presentations.
As Jeff mentioned, he is also in the process of writing a book on the topic: Ansible for DevOps
Slides only
No that's fine, if I recall, the word "presentation" was actually the word used so I presumed it was video :P
So thanks.
FYI, here's a great link to

Looking for a rules/entities PHP expert
Hi All,
I'm a Drupal lover and from St Louis....I joined this group a few weeks ago, but due to the project I'm trying to finish up, I've been unable to attend a meetup yet.
I wonder in the network if we have a Drupal expert at pulling data out of node/entity references for use in Rules and Computed Fields. I have been struggling for hours trying to access fields within these entities with little success.
I would love to meet with, and of course compensate anyone who can educate, or help me in solving this issue i'm having. Feel free to call me at three14.four12.04eightseven to talk more or send me a pm.
Hope to meet everyone at a meetup soon. Regards!
