Lets get a monthly user group meetup going, and build Drupal community and awareness of Drupal in Surrey. This can later evolve onto working on sprints for D8 core, D8 contrib or other Drupal related projects

Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays evenings are generally good with me. As I'm one of the first in :) I suggest these possible dates (leaving a minimum of a week to get the word out)
17th, 18th, 21st, 24th, 25th, 28th March
17th is St Pat's so might be a bit too rowdy?
Guildford is central to some of my network. A pub in the evening would work.
Alternative suggestion is to do breakfast meet on Sat mornings if it's not ridiculously early ;)

I think a pub in Guildford to meet I can get a decent section of Spoons in Guildford as I know the staff.
But maybe we want somewhere classier? Later on we can think about doing meetups (different locations) where its split into two parts, first is a talk from someone in our community or nearby in the bigger community, then head to the pub after. I'd like to get local colleges & unis involved (surrey uni or Royal Holloway) . But then again this can build up over time. Tues or Wed is usually good, and maybe we should take these as slow steps first :)

Only thing on Monday in Guildford town is its Student night MNG at Casino so might be a bit rowdy, but we might get some enquiring as to what Drupal is and get them interested. Perhaps we trial it and work out what day works best for meeting up.
