I can't make this one,

Perhaps need to discuss timings going forward, twice a month worked well for during summer (beers outside etc.) but not so hot during the colder months.

I am going to make sure that I make the first one each month,

If you can make it, then please do sign up so others know, use comments to suggest any topics you may be interested in.

All my free Drupal time is going to Drupal 8 at the moment, next social I will have vagrant config to share for a provisioned D8 dev box, plus an initial module conversion example to walk-through for anyone interested (there will be a write up online also).

Anybody else interested in getting involved with a D8 site for the group after the first Beta release :)

I haven't been to a meetup for a while but now the weather is picking up a bit i'll be there more often. Not going to this one but i'm defiantly up for getting involved in your D8 site.

I'd like to see your vagrant setup, I'm looking to switch to vagrant for my dev VM at home and would definitely need a good shove in the right direction!

Now I have said it, and there seems to be some interest I will definitely be turning up with some D8 resources and presentation on first meetup next month. 02/04/2014

Doubt there will be a projector (unless someone has a mini one??) but resources will be available online discussing a module conversion with controller, routing, services, block, entity queries, etc. plus alternative views based approach as a sub_module (less flexible but allowing site-builders to customize).

There are a few vagrant configs around for building D8 dev boxes but they mostly seem to be out of date (minimum PHP is now 5.4 for example). I will have one on github (hopefully provisioned with a couple of interesting extras ready for April).

Yup up for that if we can get traction, see if you can work your magic on Sift towers.

Just another talk volunteer would be enough I think, mine would probably take up half an hour or so, so don't need as many as last time.

I'd be up for this again.

Rich S is going to check if we can grab the board room @ Sift towers again for talks.

I'm going to see if I can recruit some more speakers from the dev team too.

I think my talk will only be about 10-15 mins, so we could have a mix of medium/long/lightning talks and work out a schedule based on which talks we have?
