Umm, Welcome!

I can't believe I'm the first person to post in this group. Anyways, I'm here in sydney and I like drupal - what else do you need to know? Seems like these "meetups" are popular lately, maybe we should do one too. I also recently noticed this post (http://drupal.org/node/60470) regarding some free drupal training. So, what is everyone else doing?

I was the one Sydney person (in fact, the one non-Melb person) to attend the Melbourne Drupal meetup three weeks ago, and I think it would be great to have Australia's 2nd official Drupal meetup right here in Sydney. For the Melbourne meetup, we met in a cafe and just talked with no official agenda, and that seemed to work quite well - I'm suggesting that as the plan for any Sydney meetup that we're gonna have.

Let's just start with a show of hands: post a comment here if you're in Sydney, and if you're interested in meeting other Drupal people. Once we've determined that we have the numbers (I'm thinking 4 would be about minimum), we can work out the details of when and where.

Should add that I'm in the eastern suburbs (Randwick to be specific), and that I'm available usually wednesdays and thursdays, and most weeknights i can find some time to meet.

I'm up for it as well. I'm keen to get to know other Sydney Drupal developers and find out how everyone fits into the Drupal family. Cafe sounds great Jaza. Any suggestions on which one?
