What are the OpenAid guidelines with regards to using Drush to manage site upgrades? Is this considered a recommended practice?

Updates to OpenAid use the
Updates to OpenAid use the same workflow as making updates to a standard Drupal site. The one difference being that the contributed modules live in profiles/openaid/modules/contrib rather than sites/all/modules.
Drush is a great tool to help with the upgrade process and I recommend it. It will automatically find the contrib modules located in the profiles directory.
