I wanted to make sure you all knew about the upcoming Alaska Hackathon (hashtag: #hAKathon - cute, right?) on May 17th & 18th, plus the Project Pitch Night on the 8th.
This year we'll have a beginner's track, so if you aren't a coder but want to become one, please come! If you already are a coder, or a designer, or a user experience/user interface professional, or a project manager, please also come! :)

Looking forward a bit, we're planning to offer a tutorial on GIMP in June or July. That's a free alternative to Photoshop, so it should be pretty interesting! More details coming soon.
