Join us for our Monthly Rockville Meetup!

We'll start with some socializing, do a round of intros and presentations, more socializing!

In our June meeting, Matt Mendonca will be giving an introduction to module development presentation. In it, he will explain how to create custom modules, what the hook system is, and walk through building a simple, but non trivial, custom module.
Matt is a Web Developer specializing in Drupal. He currently works at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Previously he has worked as a Developer for VOX Global (FleishmanHillard) and High Rock Studios. He is equally capable at Front End (themeing, JavaScript apps, etc.) or Back End development (module development, configuration, etc.). He has been working with Drupal professionally for 2 years.
This will be a great opportunity for anyone interested in learning about Drupal module development!

We look forward to seeing you there. Our regular meetup is the second Wednesday of every month. If you'd like to get signed up for a presentation, long or short - or just a quick lightning talk for one of our future sessions - please let us know!
