Topic for meeting/discussion?

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Does anyone have a suggestion or a specific problem to address? I suspect we could all benefit from some meetings, and it might even be fun!

I'd love to organize something for June or July, but I think a topic would be a good start.

Any suggestions for location?

Sadly I'm not around this summer, but during the academic year I can probably find somewhere at Rice to hide a few Drupalers for a while.

I liked the earlier suggestion of tagging along. I have non-profit intrests to serve as well. I'd love to talk CivicCRM sometime. Any other topics of interest? e-commerce?

I am interested in the programming aspect, so my topic would be 'various customization techniques' and/or 'making sense of the codebase'. If there are alot of non-programmers I realize this may be unpopular.

There are a number of things that interest me:

  1. Designing for Drupal
  2. Developing for Drupal (modules)
  3. Getting clients (not necessarily Drupal specific but still important)

July would be really awesome!! I'm bummed out that I can't make the event in Austin, June is super busy for me.
