I had an amazing opportunity two years ago to go to Dhaka (with a side trip to Manikganj) for a project with Aarong - you can see my photos from that trip here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/seanr1978/sets/72157629571481334/. I led the technical discovery process for their e-commerce project (they ended up going with Magento and an Indian firm for the site, but we did do the design). I absolutely fell in love with the place and would like to give something back to help the people who welcomed me with open arms there. I have over ten years experience with Drupal and have contributed numerous projects (themes, modules and a distribution). I'm curious to see if there might be any interest in a seminar of some kind in Dhaka to get new people more acquainted with Drupal, especially getting more women involved. I have no specific plans right now, but this is more just putting out feelers to guage what might be possible or needed.

Yeah, it sounds great! Actually right now here people are more busy with Wordpress and then Joomla. Very few are aware of the capability and scope of Drupal. I met a developer few days ago who was kinda complaining about Drupal not having a 'Administrative Panel' like Wordpress or Joomla.
Though I am a hardcore Joomla Extension developer, I am definitely interested to learn about Drupal mods and play with them.
Let's start small
Like Shabab bro said, people are less interested in the powers of drupal. Let's start small, a small session / Event maybe. If we start to eliminate the missunderstanding about Drupal, things can be better. then we may proceed to a bigger event.

Sounds really really good. Our company "The Jaxara IT Ltd." working for some US companies since last 7-8 years. Here more than 30 programmers works with Drupal.
