Things have been quiet recently after all of the work done on the Happy Drupal Apprenticeship and DrupalCamp London, we had a hangout last Friday and here are a few notes from it:
- The Happy Drupal Apprenticeship has been a resounding success, Sheena from Happy has written up a nice post on LinkedIN: https://www.linkedin.com/today/post/article/20140630182958-99393330-drup...
- There has been interest in using the OpenDrupal curriculum from various places in the community.
- Crispin presented on OpenDrupal / Apprenticeships at DrupalCamp Yorkshire.
Some upcoming tasks
- Review the curriculum in Google Docs and update & polish up a bit.
- Create a basic landing page & some branding for opendrupal.org, ask Pantheon for free community hosting. When there's time update this to include a few more pages with links & case studies.
- Begin to move the curriculum out of Google Docs and onto a web platform (this is an epic!). Start by scoping user requirements & then think about technical options.
- Organise a hack day to work on the OpenDrupal platform in August @ The Cube, London.
That's all for now! We should try to organise monthly hangouts with some more waning time for everyone :)
