Is there any documentation on the coupon module that I'm missing?
I am simply trying to have 1 coupon that doesnt expire that anyone can type in if they want a discount. For instance whoever would type " discount" during checkout would get 10% off. But this system, it seems like you have these long strings for a single coupon, which is nice if i wanted limited coupons but I also dont know how to give those to a massive customer base. There seems no way to email it or anything. Does anyone know how i would do either of these? The purpose is i'm redoing a site in drupal and i want old customers to resign up and get a discount when they do.
Great job on e-commerce...just a lil frustrated right now. Its probably something i'm doing.
I appreciate your help.

Thread hijack...
Sorry to grab this thread for something different but since it pertains to the coupon mod I thought it might be a good place to put it.
When I add a coupon to an order at checkout I get two handling fees. I'm thinking that this isn't the desired behavior.
Thanks,
David

You are correct that re-usable coupon codes are currently not supported in Ecommerce coupon module. However there are people spearheading a drive to develop this functionality. Please help by contributing to getting re-usable coupon codes in Ecommerce core. Here is the url to issue ticket to post your comments: http://drupal.org/node/93143 . There is working code posted on that thread but Abramo has sponsored further development to refine things further. He is the person to contact about contributing and getting early access to the code.
I hope this helps!
