Interesting to see Drupal Association research on the Drupal job market and need for more Drupal talent
https://assoc.drupal.org/drupal-job-market-2014
and the survey results: https://assoc.drupal.org/files/Drupal%20Jobs%20Survey%20-%202014.pdf
These both potentially add weight to the need for more Drupal Training, although it is not a huge sample size or specific to Oxford.

Definitely weight to the argument.
I also think when (non-Drupal) people talk about Drupal talent, they often do just mean Drupal-savvy site administrators. Being able to get your work done through a particular CMS is itself a sought-after skill. So it could very much apply to the kind of training we're hoping to do locally.
Thanks for cross posting this!
Hi guys,
Not sure how I could have missed this survey, so thanks a lot for cross posting it here.
Since we have been putting a lot of work, efforts and emphasis on Training for our local community, I have definitely pinned down the survey results to be commented at our next meetup (see point 3 of the presentation list). These results certainly highlight the need for Drupal Training at any level, trained locally and this is perhaps even more true in "Drupal developping/growing" countries (such as for the Asia/Pacific region, for example).
Additionally, it provides valuable arguments to convince students so they would come to seriously considering long term career plans in the Drupal market.
Looking forward to seeing more interesting surveys like this one, or contributions related with Training.
Cheers!
