Hi guys, I moved to Basel area lately and was just wondering if there is any meetup planned in this region?
I would be happy to organize one after the Drupalcon.
By the way - is anybody from Basel region going to Amsterdam?

as far as I know there is not much drupal going on in the region.
however, our agency have a drupal team based in liestal.
we would be interested in supporting a regional meetup.

there's a few drupal guys with UBS in basel, Greg. feel free to kick one off yourself...we have a team of 5 (soon to grow to 6) at UBS and the company Adrian is with isn't too far from basel on the train, so, it might be worth trying to start up an informal one to begin with and see where it leads.

I would offer to use our facilities in Liestal for a meetup. But since it's about half an hour away from Basel, I assume it's quite a turnoff for many to come. For an informal afterwork beer meetup I could recommend some cosy locations in the city. What do you think?

if we tried having an informal meetup in basel, early in december (e.g. mon/tues evening in the first or second week of december) near aschenplatz in Basel, I think I can grab 3 from our team to come along. Some live in germany and others have a long commute making it difficult to drop along, but, 3, including myself would be interested in going.
