I am attending Drupalcon Latin America 2015, and am interested in any Science on Drupal activity at the conference.
Is anyone else in this group attending this DrupalCon?

I'm unable to go but if we could hold a BoF there for Science on Drupal, that would be excellent. Sometimes, they let you signup to create BoFs from the conference website, or when you arrive, there is a signup board for BoFs.

about BoFs
Hi, that would be great. I've just visited the site (https://latinamerica2015.drupal.org/) but did not find anything related to BoFs. There are sessions (which I understand are way beyond our scope) and sprints (don't quite understand what they are) but I did not find BoFs. Their registration feature online is still not active...I guess it is really early....will keep you posted.

Don't worry about scheduling BoFs in advance, they are meant to be scheduled only a few days in advance (sometimes even a few hours). There will definitely be BoFs organized at DrupalCon Bogota... even small DrupalCamps have BoFs. I would recommend to book a slot at the beginning of the conference though (or the day before if possible) since these tend to fill up quickly towards the end of big events like DrupalCon.
Code sprints are gatherings where people sit down with their laptops and solve bugs by testing and/or writing patches for Drupal. You should definitely plan to attend the code sprint to get a feeling for it: https://latinamerica2015.drupal.org/sprints. They are usually organized in a such a way that there are mentors to help newbies or people who never participated in code sprints before. Definitely worth the experience!
