Modern web applications are built using new cool JavaScript technologies on the front-end. But how can you use them with Drupal? And why?
In this presentation, Daniel Stout (from Madison, WI) will talk about the hows and whys of "headless Drupal." A recent trend in the Drupal community, headless Drupal is a way to use Drupal as the "data engine" while bypassing much of the theme layer to serve up your site via a JavaScript web application.
In this session, we'll cover:
- What are the benefits of headless Drupal?
- What JavaScript frameworks should I consider?
- What do I need to know to get started?
- How can headless Drupal make my website better?
- Is headless Drupal the future of Drupal itself?
- and much more...

We'll be meeting at the Downtown Madison Library (201 W Mifflin St, Madison, WI 53703) in room 104 (conference room on the first level). Dan originally gave this presentation to the Drupal 414 group and I'm excited he'll be presenting it again! I am personally really excited about headless Drupal and hopefully a lot of people can make it.
PS - If people want to get drinks afterwards, I'm game.
PPS - Hopefully everyone has upgraded to 7.32 by now...
