Northwoods Web Developer Meetup
Pat's Tavern & Grill
70 S. BROWN STREET, RHINELANDER, WI
(715) 362-3171
I am reaching out to web development agencies in the Rhinelander/Northwoods area to see if anyone is interested in a meetup. I will be visiting the area over the next few weeks, and this is something I enjoy doing back at home in the Washington D.C. area. If you aren't familiar with tech meetups, it's just an opportunity for professionals to network, show off their accomplishments, and learn from each other. People tend to organize them on sites like meetup.com.

As we come off of MidCamp and DrupalCon, it seems fitting to try and organize the Wisconsin Drupal community to help plan some events. This is a bit difficult as we have various areas such as Fox Valley, Madison, Milwaukee, La Crosse / Eau Clair, Hodag Country, and more.
For those interested, I would like to invite you to the MidCamp Slack where we can chat and coordinate a bit easier. All you have to do is fill out the invite form at https://midcamp-slack.herokuapp.com/ and join the #wisconsin channel.
Or, comment here! We can still use groups.drupal.org and tools like Meetup.com.

I think it would be a great way to get all the Drupalers in our state in communication to help organize meet-ups, find meet-ups, and even coordinate DrupalCamp WI.

myDropWizard offers support and maintenance for Drupal sites that we didn't build initially. We've learned the hard way which site building mistakes have the greatest potential for creating issues later.
Before taking on a new client, we do an in-depth site audit looking for security issues and checking if the site follows best practices or has any problems that would make it harder to maintain the site going forward.
