Dratted Conflicts
For the second month in a row, drinking beer with Drupal pals is being preempted by roller derby volunteer obligations. I will be spending much of the evening on hands and knees getting the track set up for Saturday's bout. Y'all have fun now, ya hear?
Likewise - Things!
I'll be missing this one as well. We move in to our new house (!) the following morning. Pretty sure I'll have some stuff to do the night before moving...

I need to start scheduling meetings in the cities on thursday so I can join you -- alas, my work load is such I need to stay focused on that -- I'll toast you with my icewater while I work here in my warm home office!

Is the Urban Growler our new official destination, or just a temporary one? I thought we were going to rotate to some different locations?

Quarterly rotation
The group agreed to try each new location for 3 months to allow savoring the favored ones, short-timing the ones that fall short and to avoid extreme whiplash for those looking around to see where we'll be.

I hear they'll have beer.
It's in roughly the same neighborhood as Urban Growler, though, so if we were going to mix it up geographically, then maybe we go somewhere else for a while and take a look at Surly again in the spring.

THAT sounds interesting, but I know there are other things planned for January with our quarterly planning meeting.
Let's keep this as an option for future meetings.

Roller derby track setup has been scheduled for Saturday morning instead of Thursday evening. So my Saturday just got crazy busy and exhausting, but I can drink with Drupal on Thursday! Hooray!
