The "Applied Technology Club" at Spokane Falls Community College is organizing a "LinuxFest" on May 9, 2015: http://atclub.sfcc.spokane.edu/linuxfest/
This event is modeled after the long-running LinuxFest Northwest that happens every year in Bellingham, which I've attended several times (April 25th/26th 2015 is the next one): http://linuxfestnorthwest.org/2015
Despite the names being "Linux", really both events are a celebration of all things Open Source -- including Drupal (or at least it could include Drupal -- the LinuxFest Northwest web site runs on Drupal and at least one of the organizers is a Drupal project contributor and enthusiast, and they always have a few Drupal presentations).
I've been in touch with the organizers of the Spokane event, and they're interested in having a Drupal presence, maybe a booth or a presentation. One snag is that I'm not sure I'll be in town that weekend... and our group being the size it is, I'm not sure we would want to staff a booth all day. But it seems like it would be a good idea to expose people who go to the event to Drupal. Any thoughts on what we could or should put together?

It will be a good thing.
I can donate a banner "spokane Drupal meet up" and perhaps take a slot on babysitting the booth for couple hours!
I like Ubuntu and will participate on some of the events... is there a fee for registration?
Thanks
JOSE
It's free
I guess I forgot to mention that the LinuxFest is free. At least I think so!
