It's time for our seasonal public training, sponsored by the Twin Cities Drupal User Group. We're offering the ever popular introductory course, Enjoy Drupal: Site Building Basics. This time last year, this same class sold out at 109 tickets! We only have room for 50 this year, so reserve your ticket soon.
Learn how to build your first Drupal website from the ground up through interactive, lecture-based instruction and practical real-world examples. This is a full day training workshop consisting of progressive beginner topics in the morning and mentored advanced topics and Q&A in the afternoon.
This event is geared towards those who are unfamiliar with Drupal and would like to learn how to build their first website from the ground up; however all are welcome. Arrive as you are and leave with a valuable (and employable) skill.
Agenda:
- Introductions and getting to know the people who are attending.
- Discuss what Drupal is and what it can be used for by showing case studies, real world examples, and polling the attendees.
- Lectures and mentored exercises to go through the steps of creating your first website in Drupal.
- Learn some of the best ways to take Drupal home with you to continue learning.
This event is sponsored by the Twin Cities Drupal User Group.

If you know any Twin Cities web developers who work on church or ministry projects (Drupal or not), be sure to also tell them about the Unconference for Christian Web Professionals (http://www.eventbrite.com/e/unconference-for-christian-web-professionals...) a day earlier on Wednesday January 21st. The mission of this event is to forge long term cross-denominational relationships and community among the volunteers and professionals that build and maintain websites for churches and ministries in the Twin Cities area.
