The roles and permissions provided by Drupal core are pretty robust, but don't cover all the possible ways you may want to control access to the content on your site. This is why there are access control modules to help extend core's functionality. At this meeting Michael Hofmockel will go over a few of the most useful access control modules available, how they work, and what need to be considered when implementing them.

LOCATION

We have a new location this month! We'll be meeting at the Center for Nodestructive Evaluation at Iowa State. Room 257 Applied Science II, 1915 Scholl Rd, Ames, IA (Directions)

As always, the first hour of the meeting is open discussion/question time. If you have a question, learned something cool, or would like to bounce ideas around with others, please come and share!

Please do sign up so you get a reminder the day before!

See you there!
