Comments

Only one vote, but: add a comment!

Unfortunately it looks like g.d.o polls only let you vote once, but if you want to add a "second preference" for other options, then just comment with them here and I'll try to do the complicated mathematics required to melge them all together!

Tricky to choose

There are so many good ideas here that (unfortunately) I've picked mine for the vote as it gives us multiple sessions. But if this was a High Fidelity-type 'top ten' list mine would be;

  1. Testing/behat
  2. Search API - editor picks
  3. Search API - general
  4. Show and tell
  5. Feeds - consuming
  6. Feeds/REST - exposing
  7. Migrate
  8. REST in Drupal 8
  9. Drupal 8 module demo
  10. Journalist for Rolling Stone magazine, 1976 to 1979 (sorry, that may be from the film)

Top two choices

My top two choices would be:

1) Search API, including DB/Solr/Elasticsearch
2) Testing: Behaviour-driven (e.g. Behat), backend (e.g. Simpletest, PHPUnit)
3) Feeds/Rest

Top three: 1) Testing:

All sound good, but my

My top 3

  1. Search
  2. Behat / Testing
  3. Feeds

Because you've tended to rank

jp.stacey's picture

Because you've tended to rank your favourites, it's quite tough to know for sure whether you've also consistently voted for your #1 favourite. So I'm going to assume yes in counting up the votes.

I should add that this isn't STV, so we will get round to everything sooner or later and any actual ranking won't matter so much!

[shuffles off, counting to himself]

The results are in! Ranked in

The results are in!

Ranked in order of votes (with first preference only making a difference when there's a tie):

  1. 5 Behat
  2. 5 Search API
  3. 3.5 Feeds - consuming
  4. 3 Show & Tell
  5. 3 Migrate
  6. 2 D8 REST
  7. 2 D8 module demo
  8. 1.5 Feeds - exposing
  9. 1 Editor picks

The two halves of a point are because Stephen just wrote "Feeds". He commented at shortly after 6pm, so maybe he was just getting hungry....
