Our first speaker will be Stephen Recker, Drupal Architect at Another Software Miracle, LLC. He will be discussing Installation Profiles - For When You Are in a Mad Drush. IPs and their older brother "Distributions" are a great way to package up your core site settings in an efficient and customizable package. Recker will show how you can install a fully functioning site, configured to your liking, with a single Drush command. Well, sort of.
Our second speaker is Nick Kilne, Web Team Lead at High Rock Studios. Nick will discuss Boost - Faster than a Speeding Bulleted List We'll go run through a standard installation of this amazing module that speeds up your web site, especially for anonymous users. Nick will also demonstrate the setup of the Boost module and then discuss some tips on making it usable for content managers.
Also, this month we will raffle off another free and complete license to PHPStorm! As we are not a huge meetup, your chances of winning are really good. Just ask last month's winner, David Dan! This is exciting stuff, as PHPStorm integrates strongly with Drupal.
