I'm going to put a vote down
I'm going to put a vote down for Sisyphus Brewing http://www.sisyphusbrewing.com/. I've only been in there once, but it was good beer and not super busy. We could check with them to see if they can easily accommodate us. Down side might be that they don't have a food truck on the calendar for February's date right now, so we might have to pool together for an order of pizza or do a BYOF or potluck type thing.
Literally +1.
Literally +1.
I lied, they do have a food
I lied, they do have a food truck scheduled for the SECOND Thursday (my brain still thinks we do this on the first Thursday). Vin's Itallian
Sounds good to me
Let's all push that rock up the hill together. And drink Double Rye.

If you miss Al from the Blue
If you miss Al from the Blue Nile, I found him at East Lake Brewery, http://www.eastlakemgm.com/
Tons of good food inside the Midtown Global Market,
Another idea is LynLake Brewery, http://www.lynlakebrewery.com/

East Lake would be good some
East Lake would be good some time soon if we think they can hold us. Doesn't look very big from the pictures.
I did reach out to Sisyphus and they said they can accommodate us, no problem. He can reserve some tables for us if we'd like. That night is also their shuffle board league and he said any of us can sign up if we want to.
Both and...
We casually agreed to quarterly switchups, so why's not hit Sisyphus now and ELB in 3? I mean, if the venerable Steve Hanson is up for joining us at Sisy, let's take him up on the deal! That said, we may need to do advance ELB scouting to see Al and taste test the Slop City Rye Stout...

VENERABLE?????
So --- I get it - it's the polite form of "old fart". :-)
Don't get me wrong on this -- I LOVE Midtown Global Market so would be happy to go there too.

I'm in, but I'll be late
I haven't been able to come to anything since the last happy hour, but it looks like I'll be able to get to this one! I might be a bit late, though. I hope that's ok!
To confirm, it'll be at Sisyphus Brewing, correct?
We are Headed to Sisyphus Brewing!
After unanimous consent, we are headed to Sisyphus Brewing for February Happy Hour. The event description is updated, and we are ready to go.
I sent an email off to the event organizer, we will see what kind of arrangements they recommend.
Plan on being there!
Sisyphus is ready for us!
Traded emails with Catherine at Sisyphus, who is the event coordinator. They will set aside some tables for our group on Thursday! Use the magic words Drupal User Group.
Looking forward to this, hope to see everyone there.
Sorry I won't make it today
I thought I was heading over but I have this pile of paperwork to finish --- You'll have to find some other "venerable" person :-)

bring your paperwork,
we're a helpful bunch. I bet after a few beers we can diminish your venerable pile in no time!

My spirit will be with you!
So busy right now -- wish I lived closer - cannot justify 2 hours of driving for a beer -- but it would taste sooooo good right now!

out sick today. ugh.
was looking forward to this one, too. I'll just look forward to next month even more.
Cheers
I'm in the same boat as you Maryann...so just to feel like we're still participating I think we should have a drink via our satellite locations to keep up with the spirit : )
Cheers to all!
I really meant to come to this one, but . . .
School is absolutely destroying me right now, so I should stay in and work tonight. I had a lot of fun last time, and will try to make the next one!
Big Success!
Sisyphus was a great location for happy hour last night, we had a good sized group, but got there early and had plenty of space. Looks like we have a delightful location for the next few months.
We did have competition form the Hackers/Founders meetup that was also happening at the same time! Perhaps we can infultrate that group and find out if they will be a regular competition for us. Why don't we have a sign and nametags? I guess it is just happy hour...
I did visit East Lake Brewery in the Midtown Global Market. They said it is crowded at happy hour, but they will have patio space this summer, so it might be possibility.
It looks like the Hackers /
It looks like the Hackers / Founders meet on the first thurday next month (http://www.meetup.com/Hackers-and-Founders-Minneapolis/). I had fun mingling with them and hearing what sorts of things they're interested in. Lots of start ups.
