As per the policy of drupal to change manager to group at https://www.drupal.org/node/1949706, I am creating the following discussion.
Drupal Bangalore has close to 500 people in the group. There is only one group organizer and haven't seen the organizer being active in the last 3 years.
Based on the recommendation https://www.drupal.org/node/2346959, I have sent an email using contact form to the current organizer on 26 Dec 2014 and haven't received any response.
I would like to take responsibility of organizing the group as a co-organizer and please find below more details about me, my contributions and activity to Drupal and Drupal Bangalore Community.

I am a member of the organizing committee for Drupal Bangalore group as well and fully support adding co-maintainers.
