Hello,
Sorry my German is horrible and I cannot write in it very well - my French is horrible. I moved here from Boston Massachusetts - Drupal Mecca with Acquia and Dries in the area. I have been looking around for a Drupal group as I was very active in the United States going to camps and giving sessions at New Hampshire Drupal Users Group (NHDUG).
I have only been using Drupal for four years but highly active writing custom modules and contributing back to the community (look for my profile on D.O). I run a Drupal company and also manage a very large eCommerce website built on Drupal Commerce.
Look forward to discussions and some meet-ups (I need to practice my German!)

I think, it was a little culture shock, if you came from bosten to this region. but it's a great place for biking! ;)

I live near Homburg along the A6. My day job brought me here, I do most of my Drupal work at home in the evenings.
Not too much of a culture shock as I grew up in rural Alabama, but I call Boston home. Not bad for biking, I have done a lot of trips to Austria and Czech for biking too - ski resorts.
I have not found anyone where I work that is much into software development and forgot about searching on Drupal.org. Took me a while to get settled here as i joined this group some time ago.
