Speaker sessions
There's been a couple of speaker sessions on this that I know of (mine included).
Tasty Backend (Jeni Tehan): http://www.deliciouscreative.com/blog/building-tasty-backend-drupalcon-a...
Improving the CMS UX (me): http://www.paulrowell.com/my-thoughts/drupal-camp-london-2015-improving-...
Mostly down to additional modules and/or configurations.
We know that there was a big push for this in D8 and now there are a fair few backports that can be used in D7 (Navbar, spark etc). Making some competitor comparisons/reviews would help us know what we need to do to make life easier to CMS users as well.
Thanks for sharing these,
Thanks for sharing these, Paul. These are great resources!
I agree - a competitive analysis comparing Drupal to other content management systems would be a good idea. Let's explore that more as the group grows and we start to document best practices.
