Friendly reminder to students that Google Summer of Code 2015 application proposals are due. Please don't wait until the last minute to submit proposal into Melange. Melange will be slammed with students from all over the world trying to submit at last minute. Plus you should practice submitting into Melange's interface and reviewing submission. There is no problem submitting as many times as needed as long as you meet deadline. Don't forget to continue contributing to issue queues!

Need one final proposal review? Feel free to email me via contact page here on drupal.org with a link to your proposal for a final review.

Mentors please register at Melange and request mentor role to help review, comment, and rank proposals. We look forward to reviewing everyone's proposals. Good luck!

if i want to apply to become a student of Google Summer of Code .what is the workflow?DO i should submit my information in right-top link "Request membership"?

People overestimate what they can do in a day and underestimate what they can do in their whole lives.

Same issue.

I was wondering the same thing. What I did was give basic information about myself and this GSoC year. Afterwards, I edit the project page, found here https://groups.drupal.org/node/455978, i.e. I added the link to my drupal profile to each of the project I'm interested in. Afterwards, I added a description of myself, my school and this GSoC year in relation to the projects I wish to do.

I think the next step is to write and submit the proposal to GSoC, I think I should talk to mentor before I do anything, but I haven't got a response for the mentorship request I made.

Congrats

Congratulations to all students who were accepted and not accepted. We had lots of really good proposals this year. Selection process was not easy, but 12 students have been selected by Drupal to participate in Google's Summer of Code 2015.
