SmartBrief is looking for an experienced Drupal Developer to join their growing technology team. Our dev work covers the cross-section of curated content and Ad tech in the fast-paced digital media world. Our office is conveniently located in downtown Washington DC at Metro Center.

Requirements/ Experience
- 3+ years of experience developing websites/ web based applications using Drupal and PHP
- Fluency with Drupal 7.x, and LAMP (Linux, Mysql, PHP) technology stack.
- Ability to develop and maintain custom Drupal modules.
- 3+ years experience developing with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Previous experience implementing Responsive Web Design, preferably using Drupal will be a plus.
- Experience working in an agile software development environment
- Familiarity working with SVN or Git and Github will be a plus.
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field (In lieu of degree, 4 years of relevant work experience).
Required Skills
- Solid understanding of web experiences, and performance optimization techniques.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Explore unfamiliar frameworks, technologies, and software packages with excitement.
- Familiarity with other Content Management Systems.
- Write code that in Future you would be proud of.
- Be realistically idealistic (or vice versa).
- Teach your fellow developers what you know.
