Black Lion Group is a media and marketing company on steroids; we’re growing so fast we need more hands on board.
What we do at Black Lion is pretty unique: it’s called 360 degree creative marketing. We’ll tell you more about it if you get a foot in the door, but for now think of it as media and marketing across every platform, and on levels Cape Town has never seen before.
Our expanding work on digital projects means that we have an exciting Front End Developer freelance position up for grabs. This position is on a freelance basis with the option for full time or part-time work once the contract is complete.
Job Specification
Implement and maintain the user facing parts of Black Lion Group’s platform and products. Play a role in designing user interfaces and tools, and user-interaction points. Understand responsive design.
Requirements
• HTML
• CSS 3 and SASS
• Experience in responsive design implementation
• JavaScript
• Working knowledge of PHP
• Adobe Photoshop
• Passionate about development as a whole and willing to make use of other languages/technologies when applicable
• UI Frameworks ( Bootstrap / PureCSS / Foundation / UIKit )
• Experience in front-end UI/UX implementation/design
• Eye for design (not a designer per se – but useful to have)
• Drupal proficiency is ideal, but experience with another CMS such as Wordpress is a must.
• Cross-browser capabilities
• 3 - 5 years’ experience
