Acquia Certified Developer

Happy to announce that I became an Acquia Certified Developer. It was a nice experience of writing this exam and cleared the exam. Below are the details of score.

Overall Score: 78.33%

Result: PASS

Topic Level Scoring:

Section 1 - Fundamental Web Development Concepts : 62.50%

Section 2 - Site Building: 93.75%

Section 3 - Front end development (Theming) : 78.57%

Section 4 - Back end development (Coding) : 72.72%

My suggestions for others who want to clear this exam.

All questions are scenario based with scope of whole drupal core and views, and with some real word requirements. So attendee should understand the question clearly before checking the answers because all answers looking correct, we have to choose best one.

Most of the questions are single choice radio buttons. Few questions with multiple choice and asked attendee to select two best things.

Here time plays main role and to be frank 90 minutes is not enough if you are thinking lot about the questions, Understand the context clearly and if you feel some answer is correct, just select and check other answers quickly without wasting time.

Every question is having multiple paragraphs of content to explain the scenario, So attendee will have to read it thoroughly for the first time itself, if you feel some answer is correct but not sure, then select the answer and then select Review Later check box which displays after options, so that if time permits at the end, you can re verify those questions.
